The Office of Community Investment and Infrastructure (OCII) and Mission Bay Development Group (MBDG) are responsible for developing the Mission Bay Future Parks. Rec and Park will own and operate the parks upon completion and is engaged in the design to ensure the parks meet the department’s best practices and operational requirements. The project includes two distinct areas; 1) the final three blocks of Mission Bay Commons which are currently temporarily activated with mini golf, food truck park, and soccer; and 2) a future active recreation complex in the undeveloped parcels bordered by Mission Bay Drive, Mission Bay Circle, 7 th Street and Owens Street.
